Topic: Peer Mediation
I chose Peer Mediation because I was inspired from my Peer Mediation elective class. Going into this elective I would have never of thought I would learn so much from this class. Most importantly Peer Mediation is something that isn't only applied in a class room but in a person's daily life. Peer Mediation is important and doesn't seem to be so popular among people therefore I feel it is my job to help educate people in this specific case my peers about the importance of Peer Mediation.
I hope to accomplish three things when doing my senior project on Peer Mediation. First to educate my peers about what Peer Mediation really is. I don't expect everyone to know what it is so I will do my best to explain the idea of Peer Mediation. Second is to educate my peers on the importance of Peer Mediation. I specifically chose Peer Mediation because of it's high importance that people may or may not know about. Lastly to present the many differences Peer Mediation can make when taken seriously. This is what I hope to accomplish through my presentation on Peer Mediation.
Jackie- I can't tell you how delighted I am to have you doing this project. I think that you will really be able to make a lasting difference at I-Poly. Is there a way that we can meet once a week to set a game plan for getting the program off the ground?
ReplyDeleteWhat are you hoping to achieve for yourself? I'm glad that you want to educate others, but what will you get out of this experience? What doors might it open for you in the future? How might it help you to grow as a person?
