Creative Expression Idea

My idea for my art project is to buy a styrofoam ball and paint it so that it represents the earth. Then I will create hands out of clay or newspaper to hold up the earth. The hands are going to be painted with different skin colors to represent different ethnicity's. My art work relates to my essential question because one of answers is diversity. By having different color hands it shows that they make up the world, which proves that the world has and needs diverse group of people. A peer mediation program also needs a diverse group of people to compliment the diverse people in the world.

I think it will really bring to life how essential it is to have a diverse group of people.
