Introduction: I want to present on what Peer Mediation is and what is essential to creating a Peer Mediation program. I want to present on this because I want to them to realize how much work a peer mediation program actually takes. This relates to my my essential question because I am explaining to them how much work needs to to be put in in order for it to be successful, and my essential question is "what is most important to creating a successful peer mediation program".
1. I will do a 10 minute power point explaining what peer mediation is and some elements that are essential to creating a program, for example:
-staff support
-collaboration of students
-practice from students
2.I will give them a mini quiz on everything that I have talked about. I will then have them give me the answers and tell m why they picked that answer. (5 minutes)
3.Show a 3 minute video of a mediation.
4. 2 minute concluding on my presentation; I will go over the key parts of my presentation.
Maybe grab attention at start with short video. Make sure to go over component contract.
